On this International Day of Plant Health we are pleased to announce the launch of an e-learning module introducing some of the key pest and disease threats to our trees and woodlands.

The CFP is developing continuous professional development (CPD) training for those in professional and technical roles within the forestry sector. This e-Learning is based on the broad values and aims of the CFP and its research interests.

The overall theme of the training is ‘Resilience fundamentals, tree health and non-native pests and pathogens.’

The first module ‘Meet the threats’ provides an overview of the risks and challenges that non-native pests and pathogens present to trees. The module is hosted on the Institute of Chartered Foresters e-learning platform and you can  register free of charge here.

Further information on our education and training activities can be found on our Education page.
